Free live check · no email · about 15 seconds

vaunt·ed /ˈvôn-təd/ adj. — praised, talked about, recommended.

Your customers stopped searching. They started asking.

When people ask ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Perplexity who's best, the AI names two or three businesses — and the rest don't exist. Vaunted finds out what the machines say about you, then fixes what they read — so your name can be in the answer.

"Who's the best plumber in my area?"

REAL ANSWERS FROM CHATGPT

Why now

The answer is the new first page of Google.

AI assistants don't show a page of results to scroll through — they give one answer with two or three names in it. If you're not in the answer, you're not in the running.

−25%

Gartner's projected drop in traditional search traffic as buyers shift to AI chat (2026).

How it works

We ask the AIs what your customers ask. Then we grade the answers.

Get Read. Get Named. Get Chosen. The machines have to read you before they'll name you, and name you before customers can choose you. That's how you get wanted — and it's the whole method.

STEP 1 · ASK

Real buyer questions

We run the questions your customers actually type — across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok and Google AI Overviews — tuned to your services and market.

"who does good [service] in [city]" × every major AI engine
STEP 2 · SCORE

Your share of the answer

Every response is graded: were you mentioned, how high, in what tone, and which competitors beat you to it. One Vaunted Score, 0–100.

mentioned? rank? sentiment? accuracy?
STEP 3 · FIX

The fix list, done for you

Not just a report card. The paid tier makes the changes — site structure, the data engines read, your review presence — so the machines have something to name you for.

Free check

See what ChatGPT and other AI engines say about your business.

Type your website address. We ask ChatGPT and Perplexity the same question a customer would ask, and show you both answers — whether your name is in them or not. No email, no card, about fifteen seconds.

Check us first if you like. Run getvaunted.com — today neither engine names us either. We publish our own score every Monday and we’re climbing in public, so you can watch whether this actually works before you spend anything.

$ vaunted check — waiting for a business address…

That was one question, on two engines.

The full free audit asks 6 buyer questions across 5 of the 9 AI engines — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Grok — then grades all 30 answers for whether you were named, where you ranked, and what they got wrong. It takes a few minutes to run, so we email you a link to your own results page. Free, no card.

Proof — real audits

Small businesses are invisible. Household names get the nod.

We audited real small businesses — e-commerce stores, trades, specialty products — with hundreds of live AI answers, graded by an independent AI judge. Then we audited The Home Depot the exact same way: 92 out of 100. The gap is the whole story.

3%

How often the AI brought up the small businesses we audited on its own — 4 mentions in 146 buyer questions. When buyers ask, it names someone else, or no one.

40 vs 92

Best small-business score so far, next to Home Depot's. The gap isn't talent — it's what the machines have been given to read.

Fabric softener

What the AI told shoppers to buy instead of one client's actual product. When the engines don't know you exist, they improvise — badly.

Wrong business

One auto repair shop was confidently described as a car detailing service. Invisibility is bad; misinformation is worse.

Every miss becomes a fix-list item: what the machines read on your site, content that answers real buyer questions, your review presence. Run the free check above on your own site and see which side you are on — or run getvaunted.com and hold us to the same standard.

AI engines graded on every Full Audit — ChatGPT typed, by voice and with web search, GPT-6 Astra, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overviews, the answers at the top of Google Search. Always on the current version of each one — when an engine ships a new model, your next check is measured on it, and we say so on your report.

FAQ

Fair questions.

Is this just SEO with a new name?

No. SEO gets your page into a list of links. There is no list anymore — there's one answer. And the doors have different locks: ChatGPT reads Bing's index, Claude reads Brave's, Gemini reads Google's. AI assistants reward sites machines can read clearly, content that answers real buyer questions, third-party mentions, and factual consistency — each engine weighs them differently. We measure and work all of them, which no single search console can do — and as new AI engines matter, we fold them in, so your audit keeps up with the landscape automatically.

Can't I just ask ChatGPT about my business myself?

You can — once, in one engine, with your history biasing the answer. We ask dozens of buyer-intent questions across multiple engines from a clean slate, grade every response the same way each time, and show the trend. It's the difference between glancing in a mirror and getting a lab panel.

What if my score is already good?

Then you'll know which competitor is closest behind you, and the Monitor tier alerts you the week anything slips — before it shows up in revenue.

How fast do fixes show up in AI answers?

Honestly: weeks to a few months, depending on the engine. That's why we track continuously — you see movement, not vibes. Anyone promising overnight AI rankings is selling you something else.
